Revalidation for trainees

All doctors with a licence to practice and that includes GP trainees will have to revalidate, usually every five years. In addition when you receive your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), at the end of your training programme, the Deanery will revalidate you for five years.

Inorder for this to happen all trainees need to complete the enhanced Form R a couple of weeks before your ARCP panel takes place and upload it to your eporfolio. For more information and to find a direct link to Form R click here.

You should already have received a revalidation date from the GMC and if it is the same as your expected CCT date then you don't need to do anything more.

If your expected date of completion of GP training is incorrect then email Joyce Yates and she will correct it.

If you have not not received a revalidation date you need to contact the  GMC directly on 0161 9236277 or by email.
